Linus C Pauling was one of the most important scientists in the 20th century. He is the only one who won two Nobel prizes by himself alone; 1954 the Nobel prize in Chemistry and 1962 Nobel Peace Prize. He believed that Vitamin C could help curing or preventing many illnesses from Common Cold to Cancer and Heart disease. He has some publications in describing his believe in Vitamin C: "Vitamin C and the Common Cold" (1970), "Vitamin C, the Common Cold and the Flu" (1976), "Vitamin C and Cancer" (1979), and "How to Feel Better and Live Longer" (1986). His comments on Vitamin C has had many positive and negative comments. There are some studies supporting his claim, and studies showing a statistically meaningless differences.
